Pre-Listening | 1. Teacher plays few sounds and lets the pupils guess. 2. Teacher gives the correct answers. 3. Teacher shows the actions using parts of the body. e.g. (a) clap hands (b) stamp feet (c ) snap fingers (d) slap thighs (e) pat shoulder 4. Teacher shows the word cards and pastes them on the board. clap stamp snap slap pat 5. Teacher says and pupils repeat after teacher. |
While-Listening | 1. Teacher gives instructions for the “Simon Says” games. 2. Pupils listen to teacher’s instructions and do the actions. 3. Teacher plays “Simon Says” game with pupils. 4. Teacher shows the melody of the song (Tune: We go round the mulberry bush). ..\..\this is the way-l&s.wav 5. Teacher sings the song and the pupils do the actions. |
Post-Listening | 1. Teacher distributes the worksheets. 2. Teacher says actions and pupils circle the correct answers. 3. Pupils exchange their worksheets and teacher guides them to mark the worksheets. 4. Teacher distributes other worksheets and asks the pupils to do at home. |
